Cheese & Pesto Gnocchi


Herby lemon cheese gnocchi with pumpkin seeds.  Excellent pan fried with butter, cream sauce, or with our house made tomato sauce.

Gnocchi: house made cheese, flour, eggs, lemon, parmesan, arugula, parsley, pumpkin seeds, olive oil, salt, pepper

Red Sauce (optional add-on): tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, red wine, oregano, parmesan, salt, pepper, olive oil, raw sugar, red wine vinegar.


GNOCCHI COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Pull gnocchi package from the freezer a few hours before serving, ensuring the pack is fully thawed prior to cooking.  Heat a fry pan on medium-high heat with some oil or butter.  Add gnocchi and pan fry, tossing occasionally, until golden brown.  Serve immediately with your favourite sauce.

RED SAUCE REHEATING (optional add-on): Bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil.  Place frozen unopened packet of sauce into water and simmer for 10 minutes, or until fully heated through.  When desired temperature is reached, remove packet from water and add to cooked gnocchi and toss to coat, serve immediately.  Serving suggestion: add freshly grated parmesan on top of gnocchi & sauce.
